A new achievement of our production

In LUZNAR we are constantly developing new technologies and products, following our motto “Always a step further”. For our client, we produced a multi-layer printed circuit board with a thickness of 300 microns on a thicker copper base (2.00 mm), which was a novelty in our production.

Printed circuit boards have had a profound impact on our society, as they have changed almost all aspects of our lives for the better. While these usable circuits are found in countless sectors (from healthcare to electronics), their impact may be most obvious in the automotive industry.

A few decades ago it would have been difficult to find a car with a computer technology. But slowly and surely the international car market has developed and today there is no longer a car without a computer. These computers need sophisticated printed circuits to run them. We can say that the vehicle comfort is based on automotive printed circuits. When it comes to PCBs for the automotive industry, there are some very specific requirements that need to be fulfilled. Printed circuit boards for the automotive industry must be manufactured with materials that are very durable and capable of operating under harsh conditions throughout the vehicle’s life cycle. It is also crucial that they are resistant to high temperatures.

Recently, the enquiry for PCBs equipped with LED diodes has increased, due to developments in the automotive industry. Unfortunately, overheating can occur. With the increased number of LED lamps, it is necessary to secure a substantial heat supply, which is achieved by making printed circuits on a thicker copper plate. For our client, we produced a multi-layer printed circuit board with a thickness of 300 microns on a thicker copper base (2.00 mm), which was a novelty in our production. With the installation of quality materials and modern technology of our production, we have produced printed circuits that fully meet the requirements of our client as well as the standards of the automotive industry.

With this product, we have become one of the three European manufacturers that can produce such PCBs.
