Electronica 2018
As in previous years, we attended the Electronica fair, which is the world’s leading trade fair for electronic components. The fair hosts over 3,000 exhibiting companies from 50 countries and receives over 75,000 visitors from 84 countries.
Here are some highlights from the fair:
One of the most important themes of this year’s Electronica was the development of self-driving electric cars.
The Japanese presented their own version of the self-driving vehicle.
The self-driving robot-bike by the Austrian company INFINEON.
We also saw some interesting automated soldering solutions.
In addition, there was an exhibition of miniature equipment for rapid prototyping of assembled boards, consisting of a paste printer, a high-precision Pick & Place machine and the SMT Reflow soldering.
The INFINEON’s booth also exhibits our own PCBA samples.
